Reimbursement Request
Reimbursements are for expenses related to fundraising activities. Individuals incurring expenses through their fundraising duties for a local school foundation must complete a reimbursement request for payment. The requesting party must complete the Expense Reimbursement Form and remit original receipts to the LSF Treasurer and LSF Chair and/or School Principal for approval.
Check Requests
The LSF Liaison must complete the Check Request Form when requesting a payment by PSF to be made to a vendor on their local school foundation’s behalf. An invoice must accompany the request for payment.
How to submit funds for deposit
Funds may be remitted in person at the Portland Schools Foundation Office, by US Mail or Courier. When funds are received in person, the deposit is reviewed by item, and verified by the front desk staff member.
Cash & Checks
Cash & Checks must be submitted by using the Tax-Deductible or Non Tax-Deductible Contribution Form (whichever applies).
Credit Cards & Monthly Donations
Credit Cards & Monthly Donations must be submitted by using the Credit Card Submission Form (Form must be filled out by the donor).
Matching Funds
Donations with matching funds must be accompanied by a letter or form from the employer and the donor portion of the form must be completed by the donor. PSF will complete the organization portion and submit forms and any other required documents to the matching organization.

Deposits are not accepted by fax or email. Individual donors may make donations to Local School Foundations online or by mail. Funds received in a given week by local school foundations must be forwarded to the Portland Schools Foundation by the end of the following week.
