The mission of Artful Education is to bring arts education into every public school within the Portland city limits. Artful Education is a sponsored project of the Portland Schools Foundation. The organization seeks to give schools a stable source of revenue independent of taxpayers to financially support the revival of art and music programs that have been diminished or removed in many schools due to budget constraints.
