Portland Workforce Alliance

Dreams, skills, and jobs for all of our youth

The goal of the Workforce Alliance is to help provide the region with a skilled workforce.  The Alliance is also working to build capacity at Portland Public Schools to:

  • Increase the rigor and relevancy of curriculum;
  • Provide work experiences for students that align with the work in the classroom;
  • Help students make more informed choices about their lives after high school.

    The work of the Workforce Alliance is supported by the Governor's Strategic Training Fund, Kaiser Permanente, Gunderson, Inc., with in-kind contributions fron Portland Public Schools.
